You're not a dummy and you know that no president in our nation's history has been subject to such questions about his citizenship, his religion, his allegiance to the country, nor has any president been required to get 60 votes to pass anything in the Senate. I don't say that's because he's black but it's never happened with a white president. And you know it.
IMO there is a higher level of racism against him than any other President, but the racism is nowhere near being the only reason he is criticized.

Please explain how directing America out of the greatest financial crisis since the 1930s (caused by atrocious private market failure) is "failure".

Republicans don't hate Obama because he's black. Republicans hate Obama because they are used to their black people serving them dinner while wearing white jackets and white gloves. Since Obama is not serving them dinner, Republicans are confused. Often times, when someone is confused about someone, the confusion turns to hatred because they don't know how else to react.
