lol it was on a simpson's episode.. the people were booing mr. burns and smither told mr. burns that they were chanting his name "booouuurnns"
They weren't saying boo. They were saying CRUUUUUUUUUUZ.(If anybody remembers old schools Astros) Anyway I was happy that Steve got such a huge ovation during the intros. That's great. As Bill Worrell said, Houston fans are classier than the Orlando fans. If Francis wasn't happy with it, then he is deluded. The funny thing is that some people on this board were saying it was going to be a boo fest for Francis. Of course they were folks who were so against Francis that they twist his quotes around etc. and do whatever to portray Steve in a bad light. I'm glad they were wrong. Francis had night like we've all seen before once the game started. He started off slow, got hot later, and had had a lot of TO's. The greatest thing about the night was the way the Rockets played. I love it. They shared the ball, Yao was aggressive, and they took up the slack for TMac.
I was at the game and A LOT of LOSERS were booing him everytime he touched the ball. I thought it was pretty classless. I heard a lot of Francis sucks screams. Pretty pathetic. But then again these are the same people who wear LA Fakers and Bulls jerseys when they're winning titles so I guess they have an excuse.
I have no problem with fans booing Francis. He was a footnote in rockets history. But now he is the enemy. It'd be cool if the fans booed oppossing players every night.
