There was definately very audible booing coming from the south side of the stadium - either sections 101/125 or 401/425 - I couldn't really figure out if it was from the upper deck or the upper part of the main bowl.
Steve got a huge standing ovation at the beginning of the game and i heard very little boos during the game. Obviously there were some who did boo but 95% of tht TC cheered for him.
I thought I heard him say that he thought be might have bigger emotions coming back here but was relatively "cool" during the game. I dont think i heard him say anything about the fans.
Seclusion and I were sitting at Sec 402, dead top row, 16, and the guys 2 rows in front of us were booing Francis the whole time. Odd thing was that one of them was wearing a Francis Magic jersey and was saying that TMac wussed out and had no idea why he wasnt playing, damn idiots. I was proud that everybody gave him a standing ovation during his introductions, i did what i said and gave him a damn loud one, hell i gave Cato a loud one too. I loved that TGray actually said "Lets hear it again for Steve Francis and Kelvin Cato" after the game ended. I applauded also. Also like Stack said, Franchise high fived a bunch of fans and signed some autographs. Loved how Yao and Franchise walked side to side to say hi to Francis Grandma i think. Overall, i though the Rocket Fans did what eveybody expected, cheer him during introductions and boo him during the game. I actually cheered everytime he scored and/or made a turnover, expecially the last one. I was expecting he would be the reason we would or wouldnt be getting our big macs and I was right...

He did mention the emotion aspect, but he definately talked about the fan response, and that he expected more. That was the question he was asked. After they played the clip, Matt Jackson bashed him for it, so I'm not the only one who interpreted it that way. Then again, Jackson was pretty ruthless.
The boos were primarily coming from the upper deck, behind the basket, visitor's bench side. There were quite a few high schools/school kids up there. Immature turds.
We both sat in the middle of the haters. I was in section 430 and earlier in your posts you said you were in section 402. I think those people who came, came just to cheer on the person for their high school who were in the shootouts they did during the timeouts. Amazing.
OMG!! I was sitting rifght in front of that guy, dam he was driving me insane, his friends too! At least toward the end of the game he started to shut up, but then they came back with signs they rolled up to be even more annoying. I was so close to hitting him. At the beginning every other word he used was a cuss word, I was really close to reporting him to the security. I wanted to stand up to block his view just to be an ass, but my gf woudn't let me Those are out season ticket seats, I'll have to look out fo ryou next time.
You should be more embarrassed to be a Steve Francis fan!!! He is a punk and last nights game shows exactly why he got dealt for T-Mac. The fans were just paying Orlando back for booing T-Mac in the last game.
