    Just announced on TBS. Pretty solid except for Chipper Jones making the team but I guess he was in a position of need.

    Was hoping to see Wandy or Bourn on there though.

    That was dumb...Vogelsong over Hanson was idiotic.

    Sadly, Wandy deserves to be there but its almost impossible to justify an ML worst team getting more than one.

    The Astros weren't going to get more than one, but Kershaw, Brian Wilson, & Lincecum should not be on there over Hanson.

    Jay Bruce was a horrible selection. Bourn and the guys on the final ballot are more deserving than Bruce.

    How does Andrew McCutchen not make the all star team? 2nd in the NL in WAR, and he misses the team? thats really bad.

    Because the players are morons and voted in Jay Bruce, who isn't having an all-star season (0.2 WAR). He still should have made it over Beltran. Not making the Final Vote makes even less sense.

    The only way that Pence deserved the All-Star nod was as the lone rep on a crappy team. McCutcheon & Victorino should have been there instead of Bruce and Pence, all things being equal.

    Pence is close enough with those other guys. No excuse for the McCutcheon not being included. I think Victorino will make it in.

    Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's an outrage for Pence to be selected on his own merits (like, say, Michael Young), just that for as good of a season Pence is having, he barely cracks the top-10 among NL outfielders.

    Pence made the All-Star team in 2009 and his numbers were all vastly lower for the most part.

    If your gonna say he didn't deserve it 2009 was the year. He definitely deserved it this year.

    Nobody will argue that he was deserving in 2009. Bourn probably didn't deserve it last year, but was deserving this year.
