Jonas isn't ideal but he is a better fit than Adams.... he also can shoot mid range shots well.

FWIW I expect he will end up being dealt, but I think he will be a lot easier to move than Adams.

...gotta have someone to play the bully ball guys in the league - otherwise that falls on Zion and I don't know if your franchise wants Zion consistently wrestling with taller/stronger players on the block all game.

I think a bully C is a dreadful approach to maximize Zion and that team, personally.

SVG and Willie Green and Trajan Langdon all agree with you though, so I might be in the minority.

I'd add some Forward knife fighters and force Jokic to defend Zion at C all damn night and see who survives.

i think they did for a season or 2, but whatever even if they didnt, for all practical purposes, it is the same as if they did because what they got in ad trade, they are the proof that having multiple young stars and high picks (a dream come true for every tanker) dont work! ....it just doesnt work and it leads you nowhere ;)

30 games into the season, it now seems that Jonas has done his part to shift to a more floor-spacing type of player. Has made 33/71 threes (46.5%), and during November he was attempting 3+ threes per game. However, the fact that Zion isn't coming back any time soon would make me strongly consider trading Valanciunas if I'm the Pelicans GM. Aside from Ingram, he's their best trade asset who's playing a career season and is hitting threes at a great clip.

Now granted, not a lot of teams are in desperate need of an upgrade at the center position (aside from the Hornets), but it certainly wouldn't hurt to have a guy like him on the roster.
