Harden is already playing the one at times..

Just put Gordon at the two, while guarding the 1's.

He is a 2 guard trapped in a point guard body thats injury prone. Thanks but no thanks. He misses more games than T-Mac did at this stage of his career.

I'd be all over this If it only cost Lin and maybe Morris or Patterson.
    Harden/Gordon/Chandy/offseason FA/Asik

If only Broussard was reliable. I like Gordon, I understand I'm in the minority on this, I just feel like he would be an interesting, but possibly good fit. Oh well, if it means Parsons no thanks.

Broussard is half-assing it on some of these rumors tonight.

Gordon available but not likely to happen due to injury/health
Rondo available but not likely to happen due to injury/health
Gasol available but not likely to happen due to injury/health

Well, thanks for nothing Chris.

Broussard pretending he has sources and then stating the obvious that a team is hesitant about an injury prone player.

We need a big man. Our perimeter game is pretty solid...

Eric Gordon for Danny Granger has some rather perfect symmetry, no?

EGO is from Indiana and plays in New Orleans. DG is from New Orleans and plays in Indiana.

Both are good players when healthy. Both have injury concerns.

Indy can use an upgrade at guard and has an extra SF. New Orleans can use a good SF.

The only thing is that Granger is older and NOH is rebuilding.

He's hedging his bets so that way if it doesn't happen he can point to the health concerns, and if it does happen.... look who first cracked the story.

Its completely obvious to me that Broussard has no idea what is going on. I think that's one thing I really like about Adrien Woj. He's not always right, but he really doesn't hedge very much. If there is something there he's going to report it, and usually report it first, but the guy doesn't really need to hedge just to get hits on his Twitter feed.

I like where your heads at. Would be a great trade, but my question is what would Indiana's cap situation look like in 2 years when Paul George is set to get maxed out in free agency.

Im looking at 45+ million in just

    -Hibbert
    -Gordon
    -Hill
    -Mahinimi
    -Green
    -Plumlee
    -Johnson

You add in George at around 14 million in his first year of his new contract and thats roughly 59 million before resigning David West, or adding other free agents. Its not the worlds worst cap situation to be in, but its something to take into account.

If Im Indiana's GM though I think the positives outweigh the negatives IF New Orleans is willing to trade for Granger at this point in his career, considering the point in the franchise for New Orleans, and the upside that Gordon has if healthy it would be tough for me to move Gordon if Im New Orleans. If Im Indiana, I think I take a swing despite the cap killer he could be in the future.

Gordon the player is currently a B-level player, but if he somehow has good health he could be come an A.

Gordon the player + contract + injury history is very close to the worst contract in the league. If he has another injury-plagued year next year, NO will have to throw in 2 picks just to dump him for an expiring.

The best stretch of his career was just before his free agency, and then as soon as he signed the contract he discovered all these "new" injury issues. They've been there all along. He's the next Brandon Roy.

If they give up their lottery pick, I may consider taking him...but...still no.

Sounds like Monty yelled at EGO for playing like James Harden at his worst.
