Pelicans make Randle, Mirotic & Moore available in trades. (Rockets to offer?)

    The way our offense is set up, I'd say Mirotic. Our guys like Harden and CP3 need space inside to drive. If Randle was a better defender, I'd pick him tho as we really are desperate for interior defense.

    Overprice?
    It seems Pelicans want both First Round Picks and good players for the future.
    I think they can only get one of them.

    Pelicans have terrible GM. Anything can happen.

    any one of these guys would be good for us, but i doubt they will send out those players before they send out AD, so meaningless to discuss it right now

    @Codman , I watched a great Ted talk on starving cancer. Tldr fasting for long periods of time along with no carbs and sugars starve cancer cells. God bless

    True, but getting Moore might be a bit hard. Moore plus fillers equals Gordon, but won't be good for us.

    I saw Marcus Morris at IAH prior to the season starting. I believe he was here for a basketball event. Anyway, I jokingly asked him if Morey was picking him up - his response, ‘I wish’. Said he’d love to play in Houston again.

    Our two weaknesses with Clint out/on the bench, Rebounding and defensive versatility, are best addressed with Randle. The only problem with trading for him is that he's on a MASSIVELY undervalued contract with a player option next year (seriously how did he only get 2Y/18M), and IMO he's too good to only play 18-22 MPG, and while he's made strides to improve his 3-ball, its nowhere near enough to warrant playing them both together.

    Mirotic looks eerily similar to Ryno in NO, able to show off his offensive versatility on a bad team, and would be reduced to a Catch and Shoot guy on a real contender. While he's longer and more athletic than Anderson, I wouldn't trust him on an island against anyone shorter than 6' 10".

    Moore is nice, and I would try to get him over here if we give up Gordon + Clint + Picks for AD, but unless we're throwing a second rounder for him, he's a marginal upgrade at best over Rivers and Gordon, while being an outright defensive liability.

    Morey knows we don’t have the assets... but I’m sure he’s making some calls about getting involved in a 3 team trade.

    It is time to get one, two or all of them.
    Forget about Davis, there is a good chance Pelicans will wait for Celtics offers.
    Lakers are cautious to George and Kawhi deal. They are cautious to Davis deal too.

    Pelicans gm will be fired if he gets only 3 young players from Lakers. I think It has to be all 5.
    Ingram, Kuzman, Ball, zubac, Hart and filler.

    or
    attached Mirotic/5 small pieces for all 5 and fillers.
