Read "suburb" as "white". Last I check Webber didn't really mix it up in the paint even when healthy.

I see a Artest for Peja trade, It has been rumored Bird its exactly sold on Artst and hes on the trade block.

JO and Peja makes a pretty scary combo.

Lol. What's the over/under on Peja threads that get moved or locked. I'll handicap it at three. Place your bets everybody.

That trade makes sense for both teams.

In the regular season, yes. The playoffs are a whole different story. Peja just doesn't step it up in the playoffs. With Peja and without Webber, the Kings lost to Dallas, a so-so playoff team. With Webber and without Peja, the Kings should've stopped the Lakers from their 3-peat. Webber has a bigger impact in the playoffs.

This is a "Let's get Peja" thread, I don't see why it should get moved.

It's just like a "let's get Damon Jones" thread, right?

Well, all depending that one of his reasons for leaving doesn't involve any resentment towards not being "THE go-to guy", and playing 2nd fiddle to Webber.

Otherwise, he would never want to come play for Houston and be the 3rd option behind T-mac and Yao.

I was surprised Peja wasn't meat thrown around earlier this offseason during the Shaq and Tmac sweepstakes. A lot of Sac's ulimate playoff failures have been pinned on him--perhaps somewhat deserved, and it just seems Sac needs to throw the dice again or they have little chance to advance pass the Spurs, Wolves, etc. Given a good contract and fine production, even if he can't carry a team, he should have bundles of trade value.Thankfully we already have Tmac.

Carter would seem very logical for all sides. I don't see Seattle working given Lewis and Peja are both best at the 3, unless these two are traded for each other (Sea keeps Allen).

I'm not saying it should be moved. But I found it hilarious that this thread showed up literally 30 minutes after the other one was moved.

Consider this: CWebb is tight with Juwann. CWebb and Peja have been sniping at each other since eliminated from play offs (more like CWebb sniping at Peja).

    Maloofs want some salary controls.

    Why not a deal?

Agreed...Peja is overrated in the sense that he doesn't do a damn thing come playoff time. If the Kings can fetch a bonafide superstar for him, this trade request could be the best thing that ever happened to them.

Wow, CWebb is driving Peja out of town. Hopefully TMac won't do the same thing in the future. Well, more like hope Yao won't do the same as Peja.

From my observation, Yao is a very self-controlled person. He won't complain too much, especially him as a foreigner and an outsider with language problem. But it doesn't mean he won't take notes about what is happening around him. I wish Rockets organization has somebody good at dealing with him. JVG for sure is not his type. He is too strict and too focused.

Up until last year CWebb was probably considered the biggest superstar considered a choker come playoff time.

It's kind of funny to see people so quickly jump on Peja now. It's even funnier how CWebb is calling people out after he had faced the same type of crap in prior years.

T-Mac, Nachbar, Gaines, and TE for Peja, Christie, and Bibby.

Yes we would lose T-Mac, but I think that Bibby and Peja teamed with Yao would be unstoppable. We would probably have to throw in a draft pick. Trade Christie and Howard for a good PF (Brand). In a year we could resign Mobley.

    Obligatory new roster:
    Bibby/Lue
    Jackson(later replaced by Mobley)/Piatkowski
    Stojakovic/Griffin
    Brand/Spoon/Padgett
    Yao/Taylor
