i watched the entire thing. i enjoyed learning about the people in darfur. and i am saddened that some parts of the world may never feel the security we feel in america. cheers to tmac for taking on a noble role and helping spread awareness about the suffering in darfur. tmac may come off spoiled and picky at times, but he has grown up quite a bit between the time he entered the league and now. i hope tmac is a rocket for the rest of his career. i think we are in for a great year from tmac.
you forgot one part T-mac: "that guy was Arab? for realz? Arab? man... so wait, that guy was Arab, right? so let me get this straight... that guy back there, that guy was Arab?"
You should apologize to me for saying that your joke wasn't funny. It made me smile and almost laugh and the fact that you said it wasn't a joke hurts my feelings. (If I could have given just that post 5 stars, I would have.)
Watched the film. It was thought provoking. It was good to get a more detailed look at the people and their plight. I commend T-Mac for using his celeb status to bring awareness and action to bring political pressure and volunteerism through the sister schools program. It took some guts and maturity to put himself into a potentially dangerous, and certainly uncomfortable situation to try to bring some positive momentum to this often overlooked tragedy.
<br> I think you're confusing sarcasm with satire. Satire is humorous. Sarcasm can be humorous. Satire is sarcastic
just watched the whole thing. aside from the ball player tracy, this side of tracy was absolutely amazing. new found respect for the man. good watch.
Thanks for posting! I didn't know it was available online like this. Watching it now! Green Rep for you!
I wish this thread could be stickied. Powerful video. I'm really thankful that someone like Tracy is in position to help the horrifying situation in Darfur. Really makes all our b****ing and moaning from last season (whether justified or not) seem so dumb and petty by comparison.
Get over it. Take your minor argument with him someplace else because I doubt anyone wants to tediously go through your off-topic posts in this thread.
You need to drop it, rook... Just finished watching the movie. I was impressed how quickly they were able to tell this story and still be effective. I'm sure there is so much to show about the Darfur conflict, but they went right for what matters. Congrats, Tracy on producing a solid documentary.
He didn't really get an education as a teenager or adult. The guy was a millionaire by age 17. No college, and I assume he coasted through high school like most teen prodigies. To see him go out of his way to do something like this is really refreshing.
I apologize for being harsh about my comment, whatever the hell that means. Note to self: Do not use sarcasm on Clutchfans without explanatory footnote or emoticon.
Great movie, I just got done watching it. T-Mac is one of the most down to earth superstars you will ever meet. He always seems to not put himself over everyone and this is a big example of that. How many NBA stars would be brave enough to go somewhere where they could be killed? Keep up the good work Tracy, hope you have a great year with the Rockets this season.
