just to get in the conversation, re: kobe, shaq, malone and payton. the only reason they lost was because malone got injured towards the end of the season. when the playoffs began, he wasnt himself and couldnt play/defend well. also, kobe was acting up again that season and wanted shaq out. now that's Z's signing up, time to target Joe Smith, Ronnie Brewer and Kurt Thomas/Etan Thomas.

People are kidding themselves if they think Miami won't figure things out. LeBron and Wade are great players and they are friends they will figure out how to play with each other. They have already played with each other before.
What's crazy is you think everyone has to sit at the same time. You take out Wade first, then insert Miller in. Later on you let LBJ sit and bring in Wade to play with Miller. All you really need is an 8 man lineup and your big three will be able to play just 35 mins a game.
MJ and Pippen played in the era when the game was pretty much ISO. They won't step on the other's foot. Just play ISO in turns. Now using zone, if one perimeter player cannot C&S, it's a big issue.
