mojorisin#1192 , have a 60 dh / barb / and wizard. Usually down to farm or whatever hit me up in game.
Not sure I saw it on elites or not, but it seemed like rares were dropping more, too. I should probably read the patch notes.
Paragon leveling is pretty insane, an entire act 3 "The 2nd Heart" mf run only gave me 3 bars of experience.. o.x
Of the 4 billion rares I've found, I think I've found maybe 3 that I said "oh wow, that's a pretty good one" or "hey, that's better than what I have on now".
I just sold one in the AH for 250k. All the EQ I equipped are originally purchased from the AH.
Yeah, everything I wear is pretty much off the AH. I try to find stuff selling cheap sometimes and just flip it for profit. I don't spend a ton of money, though. At least I don't think so. The most I think I've paid for anything is only around 600,000 or 800,000.
I've definitely noticed that after not playing the game for a month and a half, I'm getting more bang for my buck out of the auction house. Some of my weapons that used to be really good are now quite pedestrian. And a life-on-hit weapon that may have once sold for 5 mil is going for 1 mil. I suppose this only makes sense, given that as time goes on more people are at max level, and hence more high-level items are appearing.
I've never gone past 200k in my gold balance. The max I'm ever willing to spend on AH is 100k since a lot of people don't know how to price things and sell good things for extremely cheap.
Hmmm I don't think it's that bad... I've tested on A3,A2,A1.. So far A2 is fastest I think (Always at Assasin Vault) and A1 is pretty close.. Can get 2-3 bars in about 3 zones. That is w/ no XP buff
But then again, the amount of exp per level goes up pretty fast. I think it starts at like 5 or 6 million for the first level, but then for level 7 it's like 16 mil, or something like that. It's gonna take a while, people. Only extremely dedicated folks with no actual life will get there.
That's where I'm at, Paragon 6. I also only killed Inferno Diablo with my monk a few days ago... but I could have done it a month ago if I knew the shadow clones disappear after a set period of time if you just run around long enough (about a minute, I think). Once I figured that out, Diablo was easy.
This game is pretty bad. The first month was good as everyone I knew was on it, trying to upgrade EQ, beat Inferno, etc. I started the game one week late and played about six hours a day. I managed to beat Diablo on Inferno sometime in June then spent the next week or two selling off everything I had. Haven't played for eight weeks or so but I did log on to check the update out and it's still so boring. I'd be lucky to see one of my friends on (and I did see one). Wizard is probably the only way I'll try to level up the Paragon thing. Run around and blizzard/hydra everything to death. You can kill lots of monsters without really worrying about dying. At most, I was at 58k DPS on my Wiz (now I don't even have proper EQ). My DH has a little over 120K DPS (I'm not sure this any good anymore, I never really upgraded this guy) but even with 30k+ life, he dies fast. Boring game...will try Dark Souls PC this weekend instead. I have the PS3 version but want the new content. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy the game. I was a Starcraft player back in the day and saw so many people on D2 on Battle.net, but I never played the game myself. I was expecting D3 to be more "RPG" and "dungeon crawling" than this.
