I guess if you were waiting for a daily deal for a game but never got it, probably should go with the "normal" discount. On a related note, I finally got around to playing Recettear: http://store.steampowered.com/app/70400/ Pretty fun. Probably too "Japanesy" for some, but interesting gameplay. Also got around to playing Shatter as well. Only played a little bit, but I love it. Also on consoles I believe.
The only game I got this year is "X3 : Terran Conflict". It seemed interesting, but I don't know how much I'll like it. It was cheap enough that I thought I'd take a gamble on it, though. Of course, now I don't know when I'll sit down and actually play it.
Damn...I wanted to get Portal when it was $5, but I didn't act quickly enough. There's nothing that they have on sale currently that interests me.
