lol Lady_Di! The irony is that even though she's white, she's technically a mutt. She's 1/2 Swedish, 1/4 German, and a mish mosh of Scotch, English, and other. Man, there are no asians that are 6'1" tall...c'mon...I keed... I guess there are those that find any mixing unacceptable, but in general, I see nothing wrong with it...I think mixed girls are so so hot...A little exotic looking is very nice... I don't consider it to eye opening, but I'm hispanic and my ex is white, so my kids are mixed...But I'm light skinned (pale ass white) so I don't think it counts and we didn't get the stares... btw, they're probably just checking out your wife...nothing more, nothing less...That or think, "why the hell is she with him"...

As someone who has been in many mixed relationships, and has many mixed race friends, there are some legitimate points to WWR's post. It's not enough in my opinion to say that an interracial couple is bad, for beauty and love and caring should cross all those borders in my opinion. From what I've learned from my mixed friends, there certainly is a social adjustment that most people don't go through. Growing up, developing a sense of belonging and identity is different and done at a more gradual curve than most other kids. There's a similarity to like a black kid growing up in a white neighborhood or vice versa or anything like that. So...yeah, I do believe there is difficulty, but it's not like a kids life is ruined for being bi/multi racial.
