I think most people just arent used to seeing an Asian man with a non-Asian female. There is a lot of Asian females with non-Asian males in NYC but rarely is it the other way around. Personally, with al the black men going out with white girls and Asian girls going out with white guys, its logical that Asian guys should should hook up with black girls. I mean, what yellow brotha is gonna say no to this?
Assume what you want, but I do not believe in interracial dating/marriage one bit. In my humble opinion I think it creates an odd environment for the child. For instance, a black dad and a white woman have a kid (assuming the rare event they're married). This child has to grow up with two parents who don't resemble each other one bit. The child doesn't know what to think. It doesn't know who to date/marry, and when young it might be confused as to what race it belongs to. The child will obviously know his parents are different than all of the rest of the children's parents. It may also cause a major clash of cultures; who knows? However, some races aren't so obvious to a white folk such as myself. If I see a El Salvadorian and a Puerto Rican with a baby, whether or not I would even notice that was their respective race, I would think nothing of it. It isn't as obvious as black/white parents.

I'd prefer my daughter/son end up with another Asian, but f they decide to go out with a non-Asian, I'll be fine with it as long as the non-Asian isn't going out with them because of some stupid Asian fetish thing.

Its even more rare to see a Black woman with a man of another race, I know personally alot of my friends (asian, white, hispanic) would not go out with a black woman, even a few of my black friends would not date a black woman, or is going out with someone who is not african american. I might be just pulling this out of my ass but i think i read some where Asian males (east as well as southeast asians) and African American females have the highest rates of been single. Can someone confirm this for me?

I am Chinese and my last girl friend was hispanic, but then again less then 10 asians actually attended my high school, so I really don't consider race when looking at girls.
Maybe the correct term is "socially acceptable", but the original poster used the term PC. Of course for a long time, at least for a majority of whites in the US, it was only socially acceptable to marry within your own race. Obviously, in more recent history, it has gradually gotten more socially acceptable to be involved in an interracial relationship.
Are you serious? Don't mean to offend, but that sounds really close minded. My best friend is the result of an interracial marriage, and she has turned out just fine. She's had a better life than most people I know. We've talked about this plenty of times. Sometimes people of both races would make her feel alienated, but she said it only made her a stronger, better person. She sees difference in character, not difference in pigment. I believe the more interracial children, the better. I hope a couple hundred years from now, everyones blood is so mixed, the classification of race goes right out the window.
I want to see an asian/black/white tri mix child with Yao Ming's height, Dwight Howards strength, Hakeem's foot speed, foot work, and quick hops, and Steve Nash's ball distribution. sorry, I had to laugh at this one. americanized asian women that date white guys are the result of our pop culture steering them into finding what is attractive to them. asian guys growing up in america find themselves single alot of times cause of genetics. women in america tend to like taller guys and alot of them like bigger ummm units, 2 strikes on the asian guy. I think our pop culture also dissuaded us from seeing a black woman that doesn't look like Vivica Fox, Beyonce, or Halle Berry as attractive. Maybe that's why other races would not want to date them.
I prefer Mac, oh wait, wut? Asian men are normally short, not so well-endowed,so naturally wimmiz pick other race, its difficult to be an asian male(I'm one of them) now days. So congraduations to OP for having a hot blonde white wife. Nicely done brotha!
Up until very recently (it's relative), there hasn't been great media portrayals of Asian men. Either we're some lab geek or we break wooden boards with our fists. None are realistic, and all fit in some niche or typecast. I remember Joy Luck Club, a movie that got great reviews for its "realistic cultural portrayal", being way down on the yellow brotha. It's still around, and if I cared more about it, then I would have an issue or two. I guess Indian men have it worse, but what would I know about that.... bingo bango

I'm white and I used to have a serious obsession with Asian guys. I just knew I was going to marry one. I think it had to do with certain men like Yao Ming and that Archie Kao guy on CSI and John Cho and some cute indie kid I had met in Austin. I ended up with a white guy. But what are the odds when you meet someone on ClutchFans and don't immediately know what they looked like? I figured there was at least a 50% he was Asian. He wasn't though, and I'm glad I didn't pursue any hot Asian before I met him, because he's wonderful. But I still admire Asian guys. I think they're vastly underrated.
