Generally, on the scale of desirableness to the opposite sex, Asian males are at the bottom while Asian females are at the top. Thus, you don't see many interracial couples where the male is Asian. I believe there was a You Tube video about this theory by a frustrated Asian male.
You tell me. Does she look Asian? She's the one on the right. <div><embed src="http://widget-51.slide.com/widgets/slideticker.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" quality="high" scale="noscale" salign="l" wmode="transparent" flashvars="cy=lt&il=1&channel=360287970192930129&site=widget-51.slide.com" style="width:400px;height:300px" name="flashticker" align="middle"></embed><div style="width:400px;text-align:left;"><a href="http://www.slide.com/pivot?cy=lt&ad=0&id=360287970192930129&map=1" target="_blank"><img src="http://widget-51.slide.com/p1/360287970192930129/lt_t015_v000_a000_f00/images/xslide1.gif" border="0" ismap="ismap" /></a> <a href="http://www.slide.com/pivot?cy=lt&ad=0&id=360287970192930129&map=2" target="_blank"><img src="http://widget-51.slide.com/p2/360287970192930129/lt_t015_v000_a000_f00/images/xslide2.gif" border="0" ismap="ismap" /></a></div></div>
I don't think anybody cares. They're probably just checking out your wife. I haven't heard of much animosity towards Asians, in general, though. Seems kind of like an afterthought since they are small in numbers compared to the other groups (white, black, hispanic)
I thought the same thing And I didnt know what PC means, until I read your other post: PC = politically correct or political correctness.
I thought you learned not to respond to me in the same way I've chosen not to respond to you. As an unemployed worm, I can understand you feeling the urge to want to harass again, because that is your weasely little nature, but I've tired of your antics several years ago. Some people never learn. Here's a link for you, champ: http://www.chron.com/class/jobs/
As the Black/Asian half of a mixed couple it is hard to say whether you get any more looks than you would usually get. In Houston I think that people don't really find it at all unusual whatever the mix is. Things have changed a lot since my childhood when my parents would get stares all the time. I find I still get a lot more stares in the North than here in Houston. Some points: why is "unPC" the designation for a mixed couple? I would think it would be rather unPC to express any discomfort/shock/disapproval of a mixed relationship. Second, you get a lot more stares walking around with a child who looks significantly lighter or darker than you. Both of our girls are closer to JV's color than mine and I am constantly asked if they are mine. They look a lot like me apart from hair and skin color but I am often treated like the nanny. After carrying and delivering a child you really want credit where it is due!
