the only thing I'm worried about is GG's shots not fallen. But then again faried will most likely be int here instead of clark. Would really like to see chris hit some jump shots. Also, idk what they gonna do with Shump. Does that guy even make the rotation?

Pretty big difference between could be the next Siakam (House) and being Siakam..

one plays, sorry starts on a NBA team and was drafted in the 1st rouns, the other is a an undrafted d-league player.. Siakam is 6-9 with a 7-3 wingspan and this dude is 6-7 with a similar span to his height..

This guy will never be Siakam.. he wishes..

Rockets have one of the stronger benches in the league. The problem with them (and some what with the team in general) is that they are all reliant on shooting 3 pointers and are streaky (not pure) shooters. When they get hot the Rockets are impossible to beat, but when the shots not falling we don't have that go to scorer off the bench who can hit a reliable mid range jumper or post up that we can count on to stop the bleeding.

When this happens we are forced to bring Harden off the bench earlier than we'd like to create some offense. Hoping they can keep it up and have strong showings against the tough teams in the playoffs, will really need them to hit a few shots when our starters are resting.

He has good defensive instincts. They need to realize he’s a 4 not a 3. He should spend all summer lifting weights and shooting corner 3s. He still seems unable to deal with the speed of the game.

I like that lineup. But...you have to factor in that in the first half they were really hot, and the raptors were playing like ****

He's also an undrafted rookie who has gotten inconsistent (mostly non-existent) PT

I don't think anyone is suggesting this is what Gary Clark's ceiling is

I would have liked to see how he developed had he gotten more playing time . Oh well , that's probably not in the cards anymore this year .

He's got to have a productive offseason and hope MDA doesn't bench him the second he goes cold from 3 .

The early 4th quarter spark was about "Finding Lin" :D

I'm jazzed that Clark looks jazzed, but that lineup will never play in the playoffs once we get Faried, Shump and House back. They each might play, but not together.

Keep eye on the ball cfnet...quit uses Clark to bash House (House plays more positions, Clark only 1) -- we need all the depth we can get leading up to the playoffs, so we can give PJ, Paul and Harden a lot of rest (finally), for x-sakes.
    • As of now, Paul doesn't get rest on b2b
    • Harden has to play 44 minutes to beat Miami
    • PJ has logged the 4th most minutes in the entire NBA
    • but but,,,when we are fully healthy o_O:confused:

House instead of Clark (Clark is good, but House brings more offensively). Faried instead of Nene.

Chris Paul is, well, Chris Paul.

Green got hot, and thank God he did. Wish he was less bipolar about it, but he made it happen. He's a threat. Need to have his kids there every night to watch him.

Rivers deserves a lot of credit for what he's doing I think. He's not feeling comfortable about his threes, but rather than punting out to someone else, he'll take the initiative to drive it to basket and score anyway.

Nene is an underrated quiet giant. I'd say more than other player, he's the one that ground the Raptors' third quarter momentum to a halt, leading into a cleaner slate for the fourth for us. He made stops, midrange shots, layups, and even ran the floor for a dunk after taking part in a steal. He's a smart player. It's a shame he's so limited on minutes. Still, might be an interesting way to change up the offense and have him be more of a centerpiece from the free throw line when the guards and shooters aren't having any success like last night.

Kinda off topic ... but I'm actually excited to see what we do next year .

I think we retain at least one of rivers / farried and we probably keep House at this point .

How much hartenstein , house , and Clark improve over the summer could be HUGE

Clark can't play the 2 or 3, either. They aren't a positional comparison. They never were. They even played together (as 3 and 4), until Clark lost all his minutes.

I guess the comparison comes from Clark's minutes evaporating to zilch, because we even used House as a 4, sometimes.

I don't know that the full unit is necessarily the secret. I would say that Paul going against opposing benches and Green going against opposing benches have both been exceptionally successful all season, and pairing them up is always going to be a winner regardless of who else is out there at the moment.

Notably, of the two-man pairings that have played over 300 minutes this year, our top five in net rating are:
    • Green + Gordon: +14.2
    • Green + Paul: +14.1
    • Green + Capela: +13.1
    • Capela + House: +12.4
    • Green + Rivers: +10.3

Clark cannot put the ball on the floor and create or scorer. Essentially he is only going to score on a layup lob or from behind the 3 line. This season he is shooting under .30% from behind the 3 point line. That just isn't playable. He had a nice game shooting the other day and got minutes.

It is pretty simple for Clark. He needs to work extensively on corner threes. If he hits 36%-40% of those shots, he will play 25-35 minutes a night starting next season and play in the league for the next dozen years. If he doesn't learn to hit 3's, then he can go play in Canada and replace Royce White.

Y'all need to get over House because the man blew it with Morey and is playing in China next year. The sooner we get over him the better for all concerned. Scrubs are a dime a dozen and House is a scrub.

I think you need to get over House, bacuase he'll be back on the team March 24th....playing essentially for free on his 2-way contract.

We need him in order to rest players leading up to the playoffs, and Tilman likes his current salary too much to not call him up. (just ask @Carl Herrera)

Get prepared for seeing House again.

We don't need House. You may want him but he is gone.

Friends and family of House should not be allowed to post.

Bet me. Some time after Vipers last game (March 23rd), Morey will call him up.

Not sure if you realize, the Rockets don't need Chiozza or TJones either, but the league requires us to pay them, to reach manditory, 14-man roster.

House can play for 10% the pay that Chiozza is making, and like 4% the pay TJones is making.

And the league requires us to pay two of them, yet MDA will only play one of them.
