Not much thought or analysis put into the original post of this thread, but re-opening the thread since Paul Pierce is an unrestricted free agent. He said recently: "I think I still have something in the tank I can give a team, maybe one or two years at the most." If he leaves Brooklyn, I would guess Los Angeles would appeal to him being from the area.
KG is guaranteed 12 mil, so that's not happening. But PP could sign with us if he's still ring chasing. Would be a great pick up.
After watching the movie "12 Years a Slave" Paul Pierce has now changed his mind and has decided to take his talents to Houston.
I wouldn't rule it out. Would be a good signing and I doubt he has his heart set on LA, that was just the only contender willing to trade for him and KG.
I wouldn't mind signing him, I still believe Paul has some left in the tank, now KG on the other hand...
It depends on how much the Rockets think he has left in the tank defensively. I'm not sure he's more than a shooter right now, but I can easily be wrong. Price wise, 2yr/$6mil, AKA a bit more than half the MLE. Would not give him full MLE.
then again. it IS the clippers. sterling isn't going away anytime soon. he's going to be in court for a long time.
