True. But I really think McGrady's knee injuries screwed up his 3 pointers this year, because his % was really, really, low, and the way he shoots he jumps really high, and having a hurt knee would most likely affect that greatly. Well see next year.
Well I understand you, but you should know it was not 1on1, it is never one on one when you are quarding superstar. It is TEAM DEFENSE. Every time McGrady tried to go inside there was help from other players. All McGrady could do was to just shoot over Derek. I know he should have done better but he wasn't in his best shape that time I belive. And that is not an excuse, that's FACT. And you have to admit that Tracy had to be playmaker and scorer, he had to handle the ball 90% of the time.
Do you realize that almost everytime any player penetrates, the opposing defense will collapse on him? This is basic basketball. Its not some new technique designed to stop Tmac.
that's right but damn, you don't give a lot of help for average players. McGrady is a star so they guard him more agressive, that's the key. The number one task for Utah was to stop McGrady by playing great team defense.

15 years from now ... is Paul Pierce remembered as the greater player? Playing for the Celtics, will likely have his number retired as a Celtic, possibly winning a championship or two, all the pub he's getting from these playoffs. It's not going to get much easier for Tracy to advance past the first round either.
Its funny for most of their careers Tracy was considered the better player but Paul Pierce looks like he'll be in the HOF while Tracy might not. ...i guess Dumars made it a couple years ago so he still has a chance but not if he doesn't get out of the 1st round. I think if Tracy even gets to the finals he will be remembered as the better player even if Pierce get 3 or 4 rings. If Tmac doesn't go anywhere i expect to see him remembered as being overrated.

He came back in 3 min, jumping out of the building, that was a complete puss move. They said it was his head first. Then they said it was his ankle. And it turns out to be his Knee. He gets brownie points for finals MVP if they win. You know what i heard on ABC yesterday? PP IS BETTER THAN LARRY BIRD ROFL!!
Btw, im not saying that out of hate. Believe me lol, PP used to be my fav. played 2-3 yrs back because of his shooting touch, but this year i really began to hate him.
