pgabriel is right ... last 2 years Pierce's shooting has gone way, way south. Then again, McGrady's did last season also .... though not as bad as Pierce. As has been stated by others here... why on earth would we go for Pierce when we have Yao and McGrady? The last thing we need is a max-contract ego who shoots 19 times a game. Not to mention who on earth could we possibly give up to get him? Not happening. I could see the Celtics dealing a swingman/guard though. They now have Paul Pierce, Ricky Davis, Marcus Banks, Delonte West, Jiri Welsch, Chucky Atkins and Jumaine Jones. Ainge has way too many contracts on his hands.
