Paul Pierce’s Family Reportedly Preparing to Leave Boston

nobody would trade a 1 pick for an all star pg in his prime, especially not rondo who even as good as he is, got a lot of flaws in his game.
Its sad to c a guy who had been the face of the franchise for his entire career gone. Hope he isnt traded, he just retire or decide to go to another team but coz he wanted not because he is pushed.
Franchise players should be threated right, especially pierce, he is one of the all time celtic greats.

KG has a no trade clause so if he did come he would actually want to be here.

And it would only be one year with 6 mil guaranteed the following year, so shouldn't hurt us much for summer 2014

Look at his stats this season --> 18.6 points, 4.8 assists, 6.3 Rebounds per game
Granted he's not a star anymore but he can still be a solid starter/6th man

 

Sign Howard in the off-season. Trade for Garnett and sign Pierce after his contract gets bought out, move Asik/Robinson and trade/waive Delfino/Brooks if thats what it takes to get this done.

Lin and Asik for Rondo and KG, then sign Pierce. That is if Rockets manage to sign Dwight. Rockets' core will be a lot better though I hope Rondo will develop some sort of jumper (though he'll just be asked to pass properly inside...). Rockets just need a good cheap backup center and it's ready to contend. Offense wise, what else do you need? Penetration, check. Shooting, check. Low-post, check. Passing, check. Defense, the weak point is only on Harden, that is if he doesn't really want to defend. I think he's an average-to-good defender if he wants to. With a lot of scorers, he doesn't need to conserve his energy thus I think he can play more defense.

I doubt Paul Pierce is going to go Houston to be a 6th man when he can start on other playoff teams.
