Trade Rondo as well and tank for Wiggins. Might as well. You got nothing in Boston. Terry's busted. Lees turrible. Garnett's jump shooting like he ain't never seen a layup line. Bradley's a beast but fouls out every game. Watsons okayyyyyy but nothing to brag about. What do you have?

I would because it's a gamble to stake your rebuild on Rondo after his injury. I would at least float it out there and see what offers you get. If it's pennies on the dollar, just stand pat and see if Rondo comes back strong. But, if someone wants to take the risk on Rondo and pay with some genuine assets Boston could use in a rebuild, I'd take it and run. Better to pull the band-aid off fast.

Wonder if pierce is willing to take minimum to contend?
A good team that needs a sf like grizzlies would make them really good

Or us?... especially if we manage to get Josh Smith and Dwight Howard to team up.

He would be an amazing 6th man. And you never know, he could always convince KG to ask for a trade down here...

Maybe Asik for KG and a pick or two? I mean if we already have Howard it would be kind of redundant anyway.

Unfortunately Boston has never had a number one pick under the Stern regime. And definitely no coincidence considering that D.Stern is a New York native. Second worst record in the league 06-07 with Durantula in their grasp and ......here's Jeff Green @ 5.

That would be awesome. I know he's from la but would lakers bite, or clippers. But it would depend on Paul and Howard. This offseason is gonna be crazy

Ironic that he's what netted them Ray Allen and got their big 3 going for Boston... they won one and lost the other Finals match against the Lakers but hey, Durant hasn't won any yet.

You can probably say it worked out for them in the long run.

I think it's time for Pierce to hang it up.

Ainge said for years he won't be one of those GMs that holds on too long.

He very obviously did. This blow up is 2 years late at least, lost so much value waiting.

Would not trade Rondo...Might as well tank, but there is zero guarantee you'll have the #1 pick...the Lakers and the Celtics will have an arms race for the #1 pick(Especially if Dwight, Kobe and Pau arent expected to be back bc of contracts or injury)...

Having Rondo will allow the possibility, to trade up to get Wiggins, bc a team might be willing to accept the #1 pick for an all star PG in his prime...

Ainge rewarded loyalty and cost his team a chance to rebuild well...and jeopardize losing their FA PG for the chance at a #1 pick...

I wonder if we could convince KG to come to Houston and play for McHale. I think we could definitely make some noise with him.

I don't think a GM would give up Wiggins except for Lebron or Durant. This guy is the best prospect since Lebron.

Rockets should go after Pierce and Garnett..Im sure they'd accept less to make a run for another ring..Rockets have the cash to do it..Houston would be stacked nicely..Mchale needs to make his calls..again.
