As heypartner has pointed out your answer is factually inaccurate...Also just to show you how much competition Jordan actually faced vs Lebron(big three Heat era only)

    2014 NBA playoffs:
    Western Conference 8th Seed - Dallas Mavericks 49- 33
    Eastern Conference 8th Seed - Atlanta Hawks 38 - 44

note:Dallas would be the 3rd seed in the East

    2013 NBA playoffs:
    Western Conference 8th Seed - Houston Rockets 45- 37
    Eastern Conference 8th Seed - Milwaukee Bucks 38 - 44

note:Houston wouldve been the 5th seed in the East

2012 NBA playoffs: Shortened NBA season
    Western Conference 8th Seed - Jazz 36-30
    Eastern Conference 8th Seed - 76ers 35 -31

Hard to extrapolate data on a shortened season because of the Labor strike

    2011 NBA playoffs:
    Western Conference 8th Seed - Grizzlies 46- 36
    Eastern Conference 8th Seed - Pacers 37-45

note:Memphis wouldve been the 5th seed in the East

    91 Bulls
    Western 8th Seed: Supersonics 41-41
    Eastern 8th Seed: 39-43

Seattle wouldve been the 7th seed in the East

    92 Bulls

    West 8th seed: Lakers 43-39
    East 8th seed: Heat 38-44

The Lakers wouldve been the 6th seed in the East

    93 Bulls

    West 8th seed: Lakers 39-43
    East 8th seed: Pacers 41-41

    Lakers wouldve missed the playoffs

    96 Bulls

    West 8th Seed: Kings 39-43
    East 8th Seed: Heat 42-40

The Kings wouldve missed the playoffs

    97 Bulls

    West 8th Seed: Clippers 36-46
    East 8th Seed: Bullets 44-38

The Clippers wouldve missed the playoffs

    98 Bulls

West 8th seed: 41-41 Houston Rockets
    East 8th: Nets 43-39

The Rockets wouldve missed the playoffs

^^sorry for the thread hijack...but just had to point out that Lebron's road to the finals has been much easier...especially when he is playing against crappy competition in the East...

Really pacertom, you can't be so butthurt about all this.

We lost to a much inferior opponent in the Blazer who very nearly got swept by the Spurs.

You guys are gonna get nearly swept by the eventual 3 time champs. That should be something I would be more proud of then losing to some scrubs the way you almost did to the Wiz and Hawks.

    Please excuse the double post.

But if you're trying to place blame on someone, you should at least point the finger at the right person. It wasn't the refs, Paul George's, Frank Vogel's, or even LeBron's decision to trade Danny Granger. It was Larry "the legend" Bird's.

You could tell this team wasn't the #1 seed in the East it had carved out to be atop the rankings immediately after that trade. And all for what? Bench depth in Evan Turner and bringing in a locker room cancer like Andrew Bynum.

If there's one thing you guys should take away from this season it's dont f**k with a good thing. Unless you wanna get owned by the champs in the playoffs.

the problem is the pacers are an immature and overrated team.

even with granger they still probably lose to the heat.

all this finger pointing, lance trash talking, paul george telling lance to not trash talk, blaming the refs instead of your team when you don't play good, blaming the coach when you go scoreless, etc just screams a team that is not really ready to take the next step into a championship contender.

they have the talent but not the mental or intelligence to put it together.

Were those the same refs winking at Indiana when they played Washington?

Um West had his arm in Bosh's back full extension on a rebound, it was only 2 free throws because they were in the penalty, and it was definitely a foul
