Because of the dunk? George is no Lebron, that will be a problem when it comes to playing Lebron's team... As for the dunk, it was a great dunk.
The thing about a dunk like this is pulling it off during a game, especially late. Vince 's was higher and smoother, but guys like him don't take these risks in games because they don't want to get hung on the rim and look bad.
I used to get slammed here for saying Paul George was better than James Harden. Someone kept insisting that PG wasn't as good as Rudy Gay. SMH.
No doubt. Vince is, IMO, the best dunker of all time. He had the combination of sick vertical, large hands, long arms, body control, and power that is unmatched.
As if it's only 1 dunk lol, he is putting together an MVP caliber season, team success included. The dunk is just the icing on the cake and speaks to the fact that his game is aesthetically pleasing, unlike a few other dominating players of our era.
MVP caliber season? Ummm no... The only two players that are having MVP caliber season are kd and Har.. Jk.. Lebron. Great player indeed, but some of y'all need to stop putting him up there with kd and Lebron. Those 2 guys are on a level of thier own. PG still has ways to go. Great dunk indeed.
He said MVP race, not best player in the world race. Best player on the best team would make put you in the MVP race. Lebron and Durant are the 2 best players in the world, but George is a top 5 player in his own right.
A team that has the easiest schedule and have at least 4 players that made the all star team before? That team is loaded with talent. Put PG in OKC and they don't win or get to finals. Put him with the Cavs when Lebron was there and they don't win games or get to finals.
Offensively James Harden is better if only slightly, it's defensively that PG shows he's the better of the two. Still will be good to compare them for the next few years.
You do realize he has came back to earth right? Paul is much like Chandler, that they don't have elite quickness off the dribble. He can jump, but he is stiff off the dribble.
It would be one of the most underwhelming MVP seasons in history. It's LeBron, Durant and CP3 and the rest of the pack. I still think the Heat are coming out of the East. Paul George is a pretty nice surprise though. Kind of like how T-Mac first emerged as a star in Orlando.
