They lowball his ass every year when they can clearly afford to give him what he wants.
    $10 million dollar initial offer?

Not much of a secret that he values money as the biggest factor. Signing with the spurs was a good decision especially fit

San Antonio needed to get more athletic.

This doesn't really move the needle

SA was constructed to take out GS this year and I firmly believe they could have. They took their eyes off OKC and no matter how much better they were at shooting the force of Kanter and Ibaka downlow was too much.

SA wil take them out next year if Duncan does decide to stay imo. Not because Duncan has incredible skill, but because they can keep their core and strategy intact.

Fantastic pick up for The Spurs. Golden State isn't a lock.

If Gasol can play near the level he did last season this is a pretty big upgrade from Timmy

Gasol can't help Spurs too much, he is moving too slow.
    Spurs should sign Bismack Biyombo

So Aldridge was a disappointment overall? Gasol is going there as a back up?

    No? Gasol at Center.

Duncan's high low passes will be from Gasol now. Difference is, Gasol is a mid range threat. Theyll be better on offense next year.

Gasol never had Prime Duncan's toughness

It is all on Kawhi and the guards

You know the front court will perform.

Gasol doesnt need it. That toughness should come from the team's big 2: Aldridge and Leonard.

I thought Duncan was going retire after all? IF that is the case then no way the Spurs are a guarantee to meet the Warriors in the WCF.

Duncan wasn't exactly a huge contributor last year.
