I hate when little guys try to defend bigger guys and flop because they know they can't unless they get a whistle. Patty Mills does it all the time. Same with JJ Barea.

Make up call for that non foul 3 point attempt by Harden...The refs were bad last night, but not as bad as Harden missing shots at the rim. He was really bad. I expect him to have a monster game 3. Harden is due...and considering that the Rockets were beatdown in the 4th quarter, I fully expect a measured response by the "bearded one."

Shaq used to complain about that. He's the biggest guy on the floor about every time except with Yao. But on the flip side, he kept using his bulk to bully his way to the basket and got a lot of and-1 calls when the defender just stood there and got knocked down. So they learned that if they exaggerated the falling, they'd get the call. Otherwise, what could they do to defend Shaq?

The mismatch thing goes both ways. Fans usually just see their own team as victim and ignore the times when they get the benefit of bad calls.

Flopping was a huge problem a few years ago. The outcry was so bad that the NBA was forced to do something. So they instituted that fining policy. And the outcry died down. But the problem has never been solved.

Was it a flop, absolutely exaggerated and pathetic. But it was a foul on Harden as well for hooking. That was obvious as well. Let not look through blinders on this one.
