He'll get his shot. RA is relatively good at giving the rockies a chance to prove themselves. The way I look at it, the longer they are on the bench the hungrier they are when it is their turn...
You need all the help that you can get. The Rockets were 0-4 before beating the miserable Timberwolves. That should tell Rick something. I'm not saying Patrick Patterson is gonna be the savior of the team, but at least you should be able to know what he's going to give you night in and night out. If I'm not mistaken, he went to Kentucky when it was one of the #1 seeds before March Madness and didn't he play a vital role in that team? He could do the same for the Rockets, even as a Rookie.
Jonathan_Feigen Rockets rookie Patrick Patterson did not make the trip. He will report to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers tomorrow.
yeah, I figured that would happen, could see JT and Ish going there as health of the rest of the roster permits as well. DD
Some of you guys are talking like the coaches have made great decisions for all 6 games. That is not the case. How long did we b**** before Hill finally got in and did what we all thought he could do? Even Adelman somewhat admitted that he should have played Hill earlier. If i'm not mistaken, Patterson did better than Jeffries in the time that we saw him play. He definitely shoots better than Jeffries. Also, didn't know he was inactive and why he was inactive. It's just that, it would make more sense to put him in garbage time over Jeffries. This is nothing against Jeffries, just would like to see Pat play.
D-league is no place for the#14th overall pick, who also was a critical part of a very good Kentucky team . All i'm saying is, we have a nice stretch of games where we are playing teams that are still finding their way. That means there maybe more opportunities to get him some garbage time minutes.
