Patterson over the Hill?

    Post moves need time to develop. We all know that big men take more time to mature their games. Patterson was forced to play SF in college because of Cousins.

    At this point of his career, I'll be fine with Patterson shooting jumpers as long as he does other things (rebounding, defense) well. His defense is fine. Good court awareness. He needs to do better at rebounding.

    I don't know why people think you have to have a post move to be an effective PF. Of course it's great if you have it. But if you have a very reliable jump shot, you are still going to be very useful offensively.
