http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterocke...to-be-reunited-with-kings-cousins-in-houston/ So Patrick is close to DeMarcus after all.
Interesting but living here in sac and watching cousins on a nightly basis I'm not a fan. Sure he is young and can eventually grow into a good player but the guy is a complete and utter idiot with one of the worst attitudes i have ever seen in professional sports. In addition he has no real post game and has a very low basketball IQ. All this goes to show that he has a very long way to go.
Didn’t want to bump the Cousins trade thread, so thought I would post it here. I saw a couple of articles where sportswriters offered their opinion o fwhat it might take for their local teams to get Cousins. Just wondering what everyone thought the Rockets might offer that is comparable, but would stil trump these trade proposals: Potential trades Washington: Jan Vesely, Jordan Crawford and 2013 1st round pick for DeMarcus Cousins, Francisco Garcia. Detroit: Ben Gordon, Charlie Villanueva and 2012 top 10 protected first round pick.
I don't see why Washington would give up so much when they have McGee on board, that is still in the process of developing. Gordon and Vilanueva are trash only way I'd take that trade would be if the pick was only top 3 protected.
that Detroit offer looks like it was put together by a 12 year old. salaries don't come close, and you are offering Detroits two worst contracts and a bad pick for Cousins....brilliant
A Cousins, Sam Dal, & D-Mo rotation would be very interesting. It's been a long time since the Rockets had a surplus of decent bigs. Of course, the Kings would probably want D-Mo thrown into the deal.
speaking of Patterson....maybe he needs some more practice before playing significant minutes...his jumper looks pretty bad and he hasn't been rebounding exceptionally well at all.
Agreed. I love Patterson but he really didn't contribute much last night against the Lakers. Hopefully he gets his mojo back soon.
