I was thinking a Kevin Love type, but like I said earlier, I really like Tjones and his talent. Just needs some time. If he becomes an all-star, I will become a Morey only Fan.

yeah Lakers are full of star players and are still playing like crap...starship is something that media creates...ppat is a solid piece in our championship winning machinery:grin:

fully agree, we probably don't win tonite without his offense and hustle. he choked on his last few shots in the 4th, but hopefully it's just an abberation.

you got it... there has to be a balance between star players, role players and specialists

Lakers got abundant star players but virtually no glue guys and bunch of old
parasites, no fresh legs, delusional coach and his out of sync system

we have a much more stable system, above average coaching staff, bunch of excellent roleplayers, one or two borderline allstars and a perennial allstar

Patterson played a solid game tonight. He missed a few critical threes but that's OBVIOUSLY not his game, he's been asked to camp out there on possessions because it's part of our offensive design right now to spread the floor. He's got an exceptional jump-shot and can hit the corner threes and has finally been playing with some energy on the floor. He's still got issues with positioning for defensive rebounding but he's been playing very well, much better than Marcus Morris lately.

I hardly call Scott Machado a borderline all star.

    According to Jonathan Feigen:

Initially told he would need surgery and six to eight weeks of rehab, Patterson sought second opinions until there was a consensus to strengthen the foot and try to play. He is pain-free but could opt for offseason surgery to place two screws in his foot. For now, Patterson, who became a starter this season after two seasons backing up Luis Scola, said he has not been told anything about his long-term role.

He's playing well since he's back, time to insert him back into the starting lineup and hope a team will take him on before the trading deadline.

Clifford Robinson is an excellent comparison for PPat. CR was an excellent defender and did not rebound well at all - at least in his later years. Difference was he did draw a lot of fouls.

Patterson has been Harden in these recent games. Nice to see. Good signs.

I disagreed. I prefer M.Morris than 2Pat cause he is a 40% 3pt shooter rite now. Once MM shoots the ball like a lay-up, his man has to respect his game and that will open up the court for our back-court duo : Hard-Lin.

2Pat is still a streaky 3pt shooter as I thought.

Yea: it happens for many young players. That is why it is so special Harden already has the "it" factor.
