How dare Hollinger, he's a heartless b*stard! Can't believe he would throw the squid under the bus like that and hate him by not making a 2nd year player/end of the bench/under 5 minutes a game in garbage time stat to show how awesome the squid really truly is!

FYI... CXbby you should stop posting immediately

Like you said, I meant no harm. I rarely use the term "stock", I just did so there to highlight the fact that, while Patterson might be doing performing better per-minute this year, if you extrapolate it over time probably those other guys will end up having better seasons in the near future. Kinda like a stock. What matters with rookies is less about the present-day value than it is about the future potential. I really don't know how else to say it in so few words. Just trying to say that we made the right pick in Patterson last year is all.

Umm it's a business. They're all assets. Wth does this have to do with race? Dragic is a better stock/asset than AB. Happy?

Ok first of all calling them assets or chips has nothing to do with race...unless you're saying african-american slaves during the 1880's made millions of dollars playing a children's game?

Secondly they are assets and chips and stocks, which is why they can be traded and packaged with a draftpick and/or cash for other players. They are also basketball players of your favorite team. Humans are multi-dimensional beings they can be a lot of things at the same time.

Lol, so did I... I wonder if the memphis franchise has something to do with players playing well, Lowry turned out to be a great player.

Psh. Hollinger's precious "stats" won't tell you the full reach of squid's talents. See, I use my eyes to see the TV that shows me the basketballs. I don't need no stinkin' numbers or calculators. This ain't no math class! How dare you even mention squid's name with backseat type players like Patterson. You see, squid isn't too scared to show up in the fourth quarters!!!11(last few minutes when its a blow out)

    DISCLAIMER:

cephalopod type players > placeholder type players > backseat type players
