What I am saying is that I think it is NUTS for someone to run for VP when they have a down syndrom baby. Both parents needs to be close by and available to help each other handle the challenges of raising that infant. To me the family is the most important thing. I would not personally do it.....and therefore I think she is wrong. Again, her choice....fine...and yes, I don't like her, I think she is terrible for this country, to put in someone like her, who in my view is worse than Bush would be catastrophic for this country. I personally think this was a political move by team Obama. Let's be honest -- 911 is not a good day for the Obama campaign. Especially when he's running against an American hero like McCain. The images of 911 are very damaging to Obama, simply because he lacks the gravitas and presence to look like he belongs at a place like Ground Zero. When that problem is overlayed on top of an appearance by Michelle Obama -- a person who has openly said she is not proud of America -- it just creates a catastrophic photo opp. So there you have it, Obama playing politics by leaving his angry wife at home. ...at the very least he could man up and admit that's why he left her there. The 'kids' excuse is absurd.

Don't try to twist the logic...that is NOT what I am saying...I am saying the requirements of the job of VP would be such that I believe it would effect a couples ability to give quality care to their infant. I would not want a man or woman running for VP or P...with a down syndrome infant, I think that baby should be their priority. DD
