Today is for remembering everyone from the past and focusing on solutions for the future... Get over the dumb ish.
We hate each other and want to kill each other more than anything in the world. Fortunately "they" have the guns. . .
I invite NONE of you people to my Patriot Day barbecue, ROXRAN. There is a good precedent I think for passivity to threats instead of picking up arms. The 9/11 acts deserve retaliation and serving of justice for sure. Its very sad the loss of lives by intentionally malicious attacks. But then you can just treat these things like a jumbo scale drive-by neighborhood shooting. The police doesn't bomb the 'hood to smithereens when people are mass murdered for equally selfish and pointless reasons. I think this is the precedent some people want. In the grand scheme of things it just isnt worth it to kill our neighbors cuz we fear them or are different from them. It sounds cold, but it "sucks for them". Lets not let it suck for millions more because of it. The fact someone mentioned Iraq instead of the Al Qaeda points right back to the government that misled the country into lumping everything as 1 in the same. Not that excusable for people to confuse the two, but its totally inexcusable for the GOVERNMENT to do that. There wasn't a more just "war" that you could have after 9/11, and we went into Iraq instead of Al Qaeda properly "smoking them out their holes" as promised.
How does one derail a patriotic thread into a liberal-bashing event? Oh wait, what was I expecting? Don't bash one side of the political spectrum out of mindless frustration. Join Glenn Beck's fan site if you need to take 9/11 our on liberals.
Its because of the fact we keep hearing that it hasnt happened again, yet. So if you being sick of hearing it all the time means it doesnt happen again then I hope you stay sick of it.
