Dhoward does that in spades. The one thing he does not do is hit a 15 foot jumper. Everyone doesn't need to be Lebron James and do everything well. Ppat is a role player. He has a role. None of our PF seem to do anything well.
I don't know. I've heard that Patrick has the Jimmy Leg. You know what a dog sometimes does when you're scratching his hind quarters? How one leg sort of loses control and jerks spasmodically? Jimmy Leg (my definition). Anyway, I heard that Patterson has been having Jimmy Leg from time to time during practice with the Kings. He'll be working on his defense and suddenly fall to the court, his left leg pumping like an East Texas oil well going for that last drop of crude. Word is that the Kings are worried, since one of the causes can be stress, and it only happens when Patrick is practicing defense (it stresses him out attempting to do something he sucks at). The coaches feel that it is only a matter of time before this happens in an actual contest, causing a delay of game, and blowing any trade value Patrick might possess. Seriously. I am concerned for Mr. Patterson and wish him well.
Is it wrong that I kind of read this as though it was being said by Billy Bob Thornton in the movie "Sling Blade"? "Some call it 'the kicks', I call it the jimmy leg"
ppat has the ability to become the pf version of james harden great offensive player who can get a shot off at any time, matador defender and 3 pt bomber looking forward to see how his career progresses
Ok yeah. So what is the SG that compares to dirk then? I'm guessing you may be overstating peterson's abilities slightly.

http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/p/pattepa01.html Patterson is really struggling so far this season with his shooting-- which is what makes him useful. At this rate, Patrick is going to get on the Aaron Brooks career path: about to sign back with Houston at minimum wage.
Damn...I'm starting to feel sorry for Pat now. Sacramento is doing what they tend to do to most of their power forwards. It's where they go to die. Contract year for him too. Not good.
