Yeah, we sure could use 2Pat's 8.3pts/5.3rbs per game instead of T.Jones's crappy 11.5/7.5. That would be SUCH an upgrade.

2 Pat was a great fit. His shot would give this offense so much more fluidity. He is a role player that is all there is to it, but he would deff. help this team out.

PPat trade probably would've never gone down if McHale had given DMo and/or Jones enough playing time. We had stock pile of PF's available but instead, McHale had Delfino played the 4, whom we all knew was never part of future plan.

Our Billy Bean forced our Art Howe's hand by trading BOTH rotational PF's at the same time. I am happy for PPat and looks like he'd found a home in Toronto.

As Pastor of the Church of Patrick Patterson, I welcome any rep for this SICK shot.

Oh and Williams? What a piece of trash for a 100 mil PG that can't even throw a decent inbounds pass.

Mchale and Morey are on the same page, McHale practically has to pull out before Morey can talk (maybe its the other way around). I do agree Patterson found his home in Toronto because he is a BACKUP and that is all he should be since he only plays one side of the court.

He is not half assed with the D or the rebounds at Toronto because there is no spoiled superstars slacking off at D.

That SICK shot was an uncontested 15-foot jumper. It's great that he made a clutch shot, but c'mon, Stromile Swift could've probably made that shot.

You guys all have bro-stiffies for someone's who's a solid role player, nothing more.

Patrick Patterson is a better fit for the Rockets than Terrance Jones. He truly is a stretch 4 that the Rockets need. The reason he's not starting is because they already have Amir Johnson.

PPat would definitely help the Rockets.

I'm still trying to figure out why everyone is only thinking about the offensive end......we have plenty of defensive and defensive rebounding issues. PPat is a better shooter yes but TJones shot blocking and rebounding are more valuable to this team.

    Per 48 Rebounds Total/Def/Off:
    PPat: 11.0/4.0/7.0
    T Jones: 13.0/9.5/3.5

Really not that much difference, Patterson is not a bad rebounder. T Jones is a significantly better shot blocker however. It's not a secret why McHale elects to go with Casspi at the 4 instead of T Jones a lot when Howard is in.

    Well said.

But imagine what would be the reaction of Cuban if Dirk comes to play for the Rockets..

They were not on the same page. Go watch the McHale's press after the trade. He sounded furious and looked totally bewildered as he was kept in the dark.

you underrate that shot have you seen that he first gave a nice pump fake thus elegantly getting rid of defender...the shot was beautiful and the steal ingenious!
