If u think Udoka hire was Stone and not Pattricks hire you dumb. It was Pat probably telling his dad that Ime is the guy and we need him. And that was the best hire this summer
Patrick needs get out there and build his own network within the NBA first. He needs to earn that respect from the players and the coaches before TF turns it over to him! Depending on how the next few years go, TF could step out and just be an owner. Rafa to Prez of BB Ops and Patrick GM!
I hope Patrick is as happy to have us as fans as we are to have him as.... owner's son It's always great to have an owner's son around. Just ask the Texans. (OK winding back the sarcasm a bit, he seems like a fine guy. No beef with him personally. Just on principle. I'm a fan of meritocracy in business, not nepotism/cronyism.)
I was going to say nothing, but he and his dad presided over the Russell Westbrook trade, so we'll always have that to uh... thank them for.
Wow, what an honor to give your family a sports franchise. I love my Rockets. I can’t fathom owning them it’s just a different level of reality. If self made or generational it has to be overwhelming, as we watch and judge. Remember know your role. We talk about their family they don’t talk about yours. Support the team and enjoy the entertainments of it. GO Rockets!
No one is sleeping with anyones wife. Here is our reality it’s there team they have the right to do what they want. You can watch it or not the choice is yours really.
Oh, I’ll watch. Have been doing so since the team came to town. These days, however, it’s less like watching my favorite team and more like rubber-necking a grisly car wreck. Owners should own, not meddle. And they certainly shouldn’t hire just yes men. There’s a lot riding on Ime—like the future of the franchise. We’ll see if he can save it or if the family sinks it.
