anyone thinking what I'm thinking? Yao's new coach: Bob Sura. I'm only half kidding. Some around this board still question Yao's toughness and need of mean streak. Who better to work with than Bob "The Fainter" Sura? Seriously! Ok, you all can flame me now.....
did some of you forgot that Dekembe Mutombo is in our team if yao learn his defending skills that would be awesome
i'd love a vg bro combo, werent they together in ny under pat? imagine a weird xmas if we canned jvg for svg,lol
I hope this is true although a lot of strippers in Houston, who relied on Ewing as their main source of income are gonna be upset.
lol.. ... I dont think they will be that mad.. he is as stingy as hill... the rockets power dancers are probably enough for him to please his sexual needs..
The Rockets can keep a cardboard cutout of Ewing on the bench and have the same effect of him being here. Please let this article be true!
Mutombo should retire and replace Ewing on the bench. We need a younger and active back up Center [Cato or Joe Prizbilla].
Yao needs a backup who plays like 8 mins per game and I dont see any backup centers in the league who can do this job better than Mutombo even at 40 years old, at least in the next season.
Ewing should leave now. He can not teach Yao anything! Bring Hakeem back. He is the hero of Houston and I am sure Yao could be better under Hakeem's coach. BTW, Hakeem is in Charlotte and coaching Okafor, but Okafor is in injury. and Yao is a better attraction than Okafor.
I'll never understand why people are so convinced Ewing is a bad coach. How could we possibly know what he has or hasn't taught Yao or anyone else on the Rockets for that matter? You guys need to let go of the animosity you felt towards the Knicks in 94. I could understand it if they beat us, but they didn't. We won. For cryin' out loud, Ewing has to look at that championship banner hanging from the rafters every single time he steps into Toyota Center. You guys should love that! As for Hakeem, he doesn't want to coach. He's living his dream of learning arabic in Jordan. I'm sure we'd all love to see him back with the Rockets in some capacity, but he doesn't seem to need it or want it. Let it all go.
