Hopefully an unintended consequence of this is the leash on Draymond, with regards to how he's officiated, is shortened considerably.

Instead of being able to berate an official for 2 minutes straight without getting a tech called on him, maybe it'll be like 40 seconds now

I find the punishment silly, but we've all seen the league bend over backwards for Draymond time and time again.

Draymond? Was not provoked. 0% provoked. Was not even part of it until he made himself the main character.

He deserves a big time suspension. He needs therapy.

5 game suspension is a joke. Minimum 10 for that garbage. If it was a player on just about any other team he would have been much more severely punished barring the Lakers or Clippers.

    Bit¢h league.

Once again, the Warriors get off light. What Draymond did was potentially life threatening.

NBA gives Draymond a longer leash than anyone since the 90s, maybe alongside Bruce Bowen. Longer than Artest and the Malice crew, for sure.

That headlock was completely unnecessary and very dangerous. The league should have come down much harder on him, at least 20 games.

What pisses me off even more though was that no one from Minnesota came to Gobert's aid. Really, you guys are just going to watch Draymond do as he pleases to your teammate? He should have gotten decked for that. I'm sure a beautiful elbow charge to his nose would only have been 2 games. Totally worth it for me.

I dislike Draymond a lot and it was a stupid play, but I did think 5 games would be the maximum. It's not nothing, and it could really hurt the Worriers playoff seedings a good bit.

I wonder if they regret resigning him. I understand not liking Poole but at least the dude could score.

I love Mike but the man is almost 60. I'm not sure he can beat him at his age.

Maybe Gobert isn’t a good teammate.
