I'm just saying that this is absolutely nothing of what this guy is capable of. If another player gets under Beverley's skin during a game...watch out. It can get very ugly. He has a loose screw.

We need a veteran leader who can keep rookies in check. Seems like most people on this thread are office monkeys who have been born and bred in an ultra PC environment and love to live vicariously through sports douchebags.

The NBA has a hierarchy, and it has unspoken codes of conduct. Rookies talking trash is generally considered faux pax. Running up the score in rubbish time and then pumping your chest out and talking trash is also faux pax.

Doing all of that as a rookie? Yeah, that's stupid. He's got to 'know his place' in the league, that's the idea behind all the rookie hazing and old school players and coaches refusing to recognise rooks.

If Beverley was an accomplished veteran worth something I'd like him to be an aggressive and vocal leader, but I don't want my rooks being insulting towards the opposition and causing unnecessary bad blood.

Ok. So outside the arc is disrespectful, and dunks are disrespectful.

Should we now implement a rule in the NBA that - when a team is hot and scores more than 20+ pts over an opponent by the 3rd quarter. That the game is forfeit and the opposing team gets to walk off the floor before the 4th Quarter begins?

ITS BASKETBALL. THIS ISN'T CHILD DAYCARE FOR THE SENSITIVE.

Next we will eliminate all but shooting from the free throw line and only allowing the WORST % Freethrow shooters, to shoot.

If our 3rd STRINGER on the bench wants to dunk. HE CAN DUNK. GO FOR IT!

He's trying to make a living and keep his spot on the roster.

Some people just seem so out of touch with the reality of competition. This isn't pee-wee league or intramural league between coeds. This is the NBA. These people get paid MILLIONS OF DOLLARS. This is a BILLION DOLLAR industry.

He was probably speaking in Russian, and Mark Jackson don't like that.

Read his twitter account, Beverley is religious. I infer he's a Christian like Lin.

I thought he was the one hammered. He can take care of himself--grew up in the rough side of Chicago. As long as it means we don't get pushed around, like that time last season when Love stepped on Scola's face, and nobody reacted.

Ugghh ... Beverley, I can live with.

Ya this dude's attitude is the least I have to worry about. He kind of reminds me of Mike James' attitude during "HIS FIRST STINT." (the late 04-05 season)

You're right, what wouldn't you like about a guy obv. not scared to go to the hoop, and not scared to stand up for himself. CF has complained about not having that "attitude" that McHale brings "himself", and CFs asks why aren't we meaner?! LOL!

I agree with your statement sir!!

My favorite thing about this team is how much the starters get into it when the bench is performing well.

Youre right, I mean look at: MJ, The Glove, Mad Max, Barkley, etc, etc, etc. Attitude & mind games never works in basketball.

Didn't he get smacked in the jaw AFTER he taunted the Warriors bench post-dunk?
I don't mind a little trash talking and I'd love more intensity on our team, but the 3rd string point guard shouldn't be the one doing it.

Wow... So let's have a team full of punks and get rid of any player who shows some attitude... Look in the mirror real hard and slap yourself
