you serious? For every "bev sucks" post there's at least 5 "jeremy lin sucks!" threads. Any objective person can see this.
Exactly, I like Beverley. He is a good backup PG for Lin. LOFs shouldn't take the bait from the haters. There is no need to cause imaginary conflicts between Lin and Beverley.
I've seen long time posters bash/criticize players along with new members and usually it's the new members who get the blame for it. I would say the number of people looking out just for Lin above the team is a limited number of people at this time. If they think Lin being used more a certain way, it's usually because they think it would benefit the team more. Just as some don't think it's a big that big of a deal. BTW if you look above it was a long time poster who made comments that he though Lin was better at such and such and look how he was told to GTFO. You seem more sensitive when you see criticism of players you like just like Lin fans do, so I don't think you'll see eye to eye with any Lin fans.
You ABJs are unbelievable. He is not very talented to begin with, hence why he wasn't a lottery pick. Fans of any team love hardworkers. So what makes you dislike his hardwork so much? You ABJs would criticize him because Reggie Jackson had a good performance against him. Going by that logic, should we use Lin airballing a wide open 3 against the heat as an example of how he performs in crunch time? Its really criticize anyone but Jeremy for a lot of you. And I like Jeremy, but ABJs criticizing the entire team to prop up Lin is just getting annoying.
I don't think anyone put down Bev saying he was terrible or anything, it was a comparison between some who believe Bev would be the future PG of the team and some who don't believe so based on what they think their skills and performance so far has been.
Frankley I'm very pleased we have both point guards and look foward to their development/peformances this season regardless of how many many times Jeremy goes Linsane or how many bears Beverley kills
I have a novel idea. Stick to the topic. Anyone posting about Lin in this thread needs to stop and only - talk about Beverly and Rose. The reality is that no team has only one PG. Deal with it. 2nd Beverly isn't going anywhere soon - Rockets still have him on that 1st contract which is a greeeeeat deal. 3rd Lin isn't going anywhere soon. So there isn't a need to defend Lin or bash Beverly. Ball don't lie. Try to stay on topic Lin Only Trolls.
Nice vid, and I get where you're going with this. But if you watch that vid you see why there is a vast difference between the NBA MVP Rose and a D-League guy like Beverly. Rose attacks and finishes at the basket while Beverly takes awkward, off balance jump shots and against weak defense. Look, Beverly is a solid player but he will never be a top 5 or even top 10 starting NBA PG. The guy has no discipline and low basketball IQ. He hustles and plays with heart and some modest skill, but he has no control to his game. Watching Beverly play is like watching a whirling dirvish.
Maybe we should just ban whoever uses ANY of those acronyms regardless of join date. It would certainly make the Crew much happier. Here is a protip for not pissing off the moderators. Clutch doesnt like having to ban folks, but the trolling going on in this forum seems to coincide with people using those acronyms which severely degrades the level of discourse and I dont know how much longer he is going to put up with it.
Captain Bev is average and will be nothing more. A better fit then Lin next to Harden but not better then Lin. Both Lin and Bev are just backups really but we don't need more then that. Just someone that can play off ball and not down a jumpshot
