Remember Davis from the 1990s on the Pacers? I think he was the last to average over 60 minutes a game. In the 1996-1997 season he went 60.9 mpg, 20.9 ppg and 17.0 rebounds. One of the best seasons one single center-forward has ever had. Dale Antonio Davis was a consummate professional.

That's because a lot of times they are really hyped up and turn out to not be that good. Rubio for example.

so i misread your previous post with last season's stats as your prediction for the coming season. no way he ever averages 14ppg imo. 6 assists perhaps. and nothing in his career history indicates he'll make it to 80 games, especially with extra minutes and an extra load to carry now. in fact 67 might be generous

Every European basketball fan could've told you though. I remember how a ton of Euro fans (including me) casted doubts and mentioned how he never improved his shooting, stagnated in his last Euro years, wasn't a true leader and so on.

The majority of the Rubio hype honestly came from Non-Euro fans watching YouTube highlight mixes and thinking he'd be the next Pete Maravich or Jason Kidd. YouTube is dangerous in this regard.

I'm going to miss Bev. I know it's just hypothetical, but If we had only somehow managed to pull off that CP3 trade while keeping Bev, can you imagine what our bench would be like? Bev, Gordon, Tucker, Luc Mbah A Moute, and Nene? That would have been just sick.

One of my favorite recent Rockets players to watch. I havent listened to the podcast yet but I'm a little bit surprised to hear that he requested the trade.

As much as I hate to see us lose him I have a pretty good feeling that the first regular season game of watching Paul and Harden together is going to make me get over that pretty quickly.

He is certainly the most creative passer in the world and is at worst one of the 2-3 best passers in the world. He sees the floor extremely well and has excellent instincts.

Unfortunately he is probably the worst defensive player in recent NBA history. He also should stop smoking.

I wish Bev the best- as long as he's not playing us. He will go down as an all-time fan fave.

Coupled with the notorious bum-look and wild playing style, it creates a unique vibe and will only add to his greatness. :D

I am not sure if Pat Beverley's shooting efficiency will do very well when he tries to "spead his wings." Accordubg to www.nbawowy.com, when Pat played with Harden off the floor last season, he had a usage rate of 18.9% (slightly below average) and a TS% of 49.1% (well below average). His efficiency is much better playing with Harden while his usage rate decreases.

He may get to take more shots next season, but the Clippers probably should not rely on him trying to create too many of his own shots.

If Pat wants a bigger PG role he is delusional. He was already maxing out his value as a 3 and d hustle player who was a surprisingly good secondary play maker in a limited role. No other playoff team will give him a bigger role.

I don't understand the point of revealing this now. He could have just kept this to himself.
