Amin Elhassan spills that the Mavs' top free agent target is Patrick Beverley this coming offseason.

    http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=12410495&ex_cid=espnapi_public

Most of the video is concerning Rondo's misfortunes since becoming a Mav and that Beverley is the top FA target for them this offseason.

What do you guys think? Thoughts?

Would love if Dallas offered a ridiculous contract again...:grin::grin:

This is probably BS from Cuban but he is gonna destroy the Mavericks trying to troll the Rockets if he's serious

Bev would not be the kind of person to go as easy as Parsons either

Bev's mom lives in Houston... he wants to be here. He won't go as easy as Parsons.

Cool. He's a starter at best. You can have him if he doesn't work out here.

Does Cuban have a Harden(I won't use the actual word) for Rockets free agents? I just hope Morey and Les don't get suckered into a bidding war for an average NBA role player. I remember years ago Cuban also drove up the price on Moochie Norris and the Rockets fell for that trap, handing him a ridiculous extension that he quickly proved he wasn't close to being worth.

Hilarious. I like what he brings but this guy is not a starter. If Mavs want to pay him a lot of money then let them.

lol at Cuban and his ridiculous overpaying to make make Houston lite... also, they are going to have to spend big to maintain what they have... Chandler and Ellis are free agents and will command big $

He should really try to steal Morey instead. He's the one that finds these guys.

I think most people would go as 'easy' as $46M. He can buy his mom a chain of hair-dids in Dallas with that kind of money.

Amin Elhassan is an idiot and a troll. He once worked for the Suns, but whatever NBA contacts he has don't seem to give him anything of value.

I'd like to think Beverley has more integrity and loyalty then Parsons.
