Yeah....he's playing behind Ish Smith and the two of them combined for 4/26 FG... (that's right, it is around 15%) and allowed Lin to get 29 pts last night.

Whats the injury status on Pat's wrist? I caught parts of game and he seemed to have walked to the locker room holding his wrist?

It's not like Pat shot well with good wrists to begin with.

Here's hoping Prigs gets more burn and is comfortable shooting. He doesn't take the wide open looks he gets.

Left wrist sprain. That's about all they put out in terms of an update, I think.

Bev's hurt so we no longer have him as a scapegoat:rolleyes:

How ironic guys like Tony Parker are now having field day's against our elderly backcourt. The funny thing is I TOLD y'all how important Bev's defense was to our playoff hopes. Now that he's gone we are watching it all manifest into reality. Bev is terribly missed right now

Yeah don't think this was ever a question. Bev might be on the lower tier of starting PG's, but he is a damn sight better than Terry or Prigioni on defense and similar on offense (in Prigioni's case, Bev is superior in almost every way).

The way Tony Parker did us, I worry that we would get scorched by almost any starting PG in the West in a 7 game series.

Bev was never the "scapegoat". He was pretty bad this season, all things considered, but everybody knows he was our best option at point guard. That says less about Beverley and more about how much Morey ignored the PG position.

Didn't see this posted anywhere but Bev might try to come back..

Of course, that would mean that we are still in the playoffs by May 20th (WCF?). But Bev is always trying to comeback. Even though he was meh to really bad this season, his fire is one of the things most missed on this team at the moment.

Scapegoat implies that he was actually good this year. Don't fool yourself.

Its called a offensive slump. His defense was solid all year. Now that he's injured no coincidence we get killed by Austin Rivers (Austin FREAKING Rivers)

27 pages on how he's garbage and he's the guy that fans are claiming would be the missing piece in a 30 point blowout

We have learned the value Pat Bev has to the Rockets in this Clippers series. As Zach Lowe said on his podcast today, he transforms the defense.

It makes me wonder how far are from a championship if fully healthy. I doubt we get by the Clippers even with Bev and Dmo but maybe we do. I don't see Austin Rivers doing what he's doing if Bev is in the game. With the way Jones and Smith are playing Dmo could easily get 30 minutes a game and we all know how he stretches the floor and rotates defensively. Basically, those two guys excel at stopping what the Clippers are killing us with: screens on the perimeter and pocket passes/lobs in the lane.

A small move or two and some good luck (health) and this team has as good a shot as any.

I don't think we can beat the Clippers with Beverley and DMo, but at least I can say for sure we'd be a hell of a lot more competitive.

Clippers are just so damn talented and have a lot of confidence right now. Every team goes in funks and right now we're in one while the Clippers are locked in.

All that said, don't be surprised if Morey once again blows up the roster in order to get the 3rd star. May not be popular among the fans, but I think it's the right thing IMO.

Even though we got the 2 seed, I don't think we would've won a 7 game series with the Warriors, Clippers, Spurs, Grizzlies, and Thunder (when healthy). Even the Blazers when healthy is good enough to beat us as they proved last year. That's pretty alarming, which justifies Morey going for a 3rd star.
