Commentators + me. He was seriously off the bench for like 80% of the game.

How serious is a partially torn muscle? Is it likely that he'll actually be back at 100% within the time frame?

I would think it probably depends on the severity of the tear. Steve Blake had that but seemed more severe. He had to have surgery and anticipated to be out 6-8 weeks. This article was 12/2/12 and from NBA Game Log he played 1/29/13 so 6-8 weeks looks right

“It’s not a typical basketball injury,” Lombardo said. “Shaq (O’Neal) had a minor variant of it, but we had him better over a six-week period. Most players will get better with conservative measures. In my tenure with the team, this is my first time a player needed surgery.” - See more at: http://blog.lakers.com/lakers/2013/01/15/injury-update-steve-blake/#sthash.54wn4wkv.dpuf

Go watch the first 3 minutes of the the third quarter. Even lin at one point tapped on his chest like saying my bad after consecutive turnovers.

Maybe we should sign a waiver wire player like Shannon Brown to a 10-day contract just in case.
