If this was Harden or Howard I would say that. As much of an energy guy Bev is he isn't some superstar that kills a team's chances when he goes down. The Rockets still should be favorites to win the series.

Even without Bev we can still beat Portland as long as Lin continues to play well. Just need to find a way to contain Aldridge and Harden needs to show up on both ends. Perhaps Harden playing PG is what we need? This could give PT to Daniels.

You just can't be too careful with the knees. I commend Bev for his determination and courage and coming back, guy has more heart than any player in the league. But the rest of his career is more important. If Rox can't beat Portland without Bev and Howard and Harden are still out there, then the Blazers were just the better team.

Sounds like pat is done for the season. I still trust lin and I would like to see troy daniels and cannon get some minutes.

I think you have to shut down Bev at this point. That knee is clearly not ready to be played on. They were crazy letting him back. Rockets have a bad history of playing players through injuries and it does not turn out well.

Rockets are probably done. Incredibly disappointing. Oh well.

I'm a Blazer fan, but I really hope he's okay. If we beat you in the series, we would want to do so at full strength. Anything else is lawyer ball.

Our fan base hates Beverley, but I think it's because he's not on our team. Although obviously I don't wish him success this series, you have to root for a guy who has gotten the most out of his talent like Beverley has.

Hopefully, his knee feels better tomorrow and he plays in Game Two.

You should also know, if there is one team that understands and can sympathize with a key player battling a knee injury, it's the Blazers.

IMO, Beverley needs to think about his future. Brandon Roy came back too early, and it wrecked his career.

Lillard went 31pts/9reb/5ast with Beverley on him even with those stats we were still in position to win the game. Our main concern should be is how to stop Aldridge.

I hope McHale puts Lin instead of Parsons on Lillard

Funny, I don't see a bunch of people calling Aldridge dirty for injuring Beverley.

Lin has done decently on Parker on the defensive end historically. At least as well as you can reasonably hope given the number of picks and screens they run. The real problem is what happens on switches and when Lin needs rest.

After Lin it's pretty much just Canaan and Daniels. Not sure how I feel about that for the rest of the play offs.
