I made NO argument of defensive ability of Bev of Lin, just that factually in specific circumstances specific statement were incorrect.

In a nutshell, what you've done is this...

You : "BS. The sky is not NEARLY as pretty as you said it is..."

I'm pretty sure he'll be starting right when he gets back and probably get 30 minutes from day 1. Injuries don't seem to bother him as much

 

Patrick Beverley is the kind of player that will make sacrifices for his team.

He watched Lin struggle mightily against the Clippers. He knew Lin was not ready to fill his shoes. Literally and figuratively.

So what does Pat do?

Does he ignore the team, cower and take the time off to protect himself and future $$?

Does he whine and moan, "Oh my menis....someone massage my menis!!!"

No sir, thats not what warriers do.

Tru warriers do whatever it takes to help the team.

We got lucky on this one. Maybe it's a sign of good things to come.

Either way, like Morey said, we need a third scoring option. It's unlikely we'll win a title this year, so Bev getting hurt wasn't the nail in any coffin. But, we need to make considerable noise in the playoffs, and we're far more likely to do that with him starting alongside Harden in the backcourt. So, again, it's great news to hear he'll be back.
