A Lin fan complaining about people making excuses for a player. I guess you now know how the rest of us feel?

Well, is it even possible for him to return in such a short time? Lin and Westbrook spent a few months, right?

Depends on how bad is it, but it's probably not good since he has to get second opinion. We'll see, best case scenario he comes back for the 2nd round of playoffs. That's what it seems like up to now.

It's been a long time since he's had that type of confidence.

I hope Bev comes back for the playoffs. Lin is talented by very one-dimensional. Only superstars can be jack of all trades. Lin has been a backup for majority of the season and that’s what he will be.

Nothing that you said here makes any sense.

And it's going to be CRAZY when Curry scores 30+ against us. Almost EARTH SHATTERING. My prediction is that when Curry scores 30+, when it happens, it's going to be HUGE NEWS. I'm pretty sure there's going to be some riots somewhere because of it.

I disagree with you completely. Some parts made sense to me. Like "I hope Bev comes back for the playoffs." That is an example of a part of the post that made perfect sense.

Yes, I was exaggerating - only 75% made no sense.

I'm saddened by the news. Depending on how serious it is, it might be best for him to sit out the whole playoffs and rehab for next season. It's unlikely that we win the championship this year. I dont want to sacrifice long term sucuess just for Bev to play this year and make the injury worse

This season.is aim at developing the team. Many players of this team are still learning to be better in order to fight for the championship in the coming years. Suddenly all fans expect the team to advance to the WCF. Fans start to think Harden will be the next MJ, Howard is the best center in the league......

Indeed, with or without PB, a hard fought exit in the second round is quite ok.

Okc fans act like they were the favorites to win last year. They still had to beat the grizzlies who peaked during the playoffs, spurs who also peaked, and the heat with ray allen and birdman minus harden.

    Thunder fans are ****ing stupid.

Not that i want to see it, but i hope youre watching tomorrow night when paul owns lin. Its gonna suck, expect to see paul flops, lin turnovers, and paul abusing Lin.

Be reminded that Lin did well when he was the starter and also did well overall when Bev and Harden were out with injuries. Remember when he also started out great at the beginning of the season before his injury?

The Rockets have been playing against some scrubs lately, which explains the easy wins. However, they will be playing against the top teams in the West, so even if Bev were to play, the team would still struggle against them.

If CP3 scores crazy at the game, don't be surprised, because it's CHRIS PAUL! Same with Stephen Curry. They outscore most PGs in the NBA. It's not that shocking and Bev doesn't do well against them either, except suffocate and annoy them. Perfect example was when he played against Westrbrook in the game against OKC. He only pissed off Westbrook, which I assume only motivated him even more to win the game. Oh, and the Rockets lost that game.

I'll miss Bev mostly because I'll miss all of the tension he brings to the court. All of this expectation that Lin pretty much needs to play extremely well is ridiculous. There are other players in the team who also needs to play well.

Dude, check out games when Lin started against curry's warriors since Lin is a rockets, then open your loud mouth. Tell me how curry performed, don't tell me it was Beverley who did it to him because it is not....

Don't want to start a new thread, but I did look into what would we look like when we meet elite PGs that we most likely will face in post season.

So I pull out data from NBA.com for those PGs, and look at their FG%, 3FG% etc when they are on court together with Jeremy Lin, or Patrick Beverley, and compare that to their season average. Numbers are per game bases.

I highlighted green when their FG% dropped more than 10% when they are facing our PGs, and I highlighted red when their FG% increased more than 10%.

I'm not going to make conclusions here, as people will get their own conclusion from the same set of data anyway.

CP owns every PG in the NBA, including Bev and Lin - so yes, we will be watching tomorrow when he 'owns' Lin who will be subbing for the injured Bev who he would have owned. If anything, Bev seems to make top guards like CP and Westbrook play harder as they get annoyed. Ok bye.

We need to sign another pg in case lin pulls another disappearing act in the playoffs.

I know that seems baiting but I'm being serious. I hope jeremy steps up but history has not been on his side. Been a rich man's luther head.

You should highlight the assists column. That's the most telling part. To be honest, I'm surprised by the difference in assists allowed.
