Most importantly, Rockets lost its bench unless you can consider Canaan to be a Lin-sized bench... Sad day!

It depends if he wants his meniscus removed or decreased. That will be a very bad idea career wise. He's a very good cheap role player for the Rockets for years to come. Let him heal properly.

I really hope Bev does a repair instead of surgery (if repair is an option)

He's young and he still didn't get paid good money yet. Wouldn't want him to risk his career.

You've still got Harden... Who knows, he might turn a leaf and be Jordanesque on both ends of the court.

Maybe next year, after Lin's traded. He's still too error prone.

This doesn't effect Rocket's playoff chances at all. If anything this might be better since they call games even tighter and with all the superstar point guards it will probably save a couple of fouls called.

It's not a question of how Lin will do, he will be fine, he is a starter quality player, the big question mark is Caanan with the bench.

the curse of the Jeremy Lin..once you go from the bench to a starter you get a miniscus tear before the playoffs.

man...I'm not a huge fan of Bev, but he stabilized the lineup... I'm worried the bench will be awful now... Gotta see what Cannan can do with the keys.

C'mon, Beverley's a great teammate, but to compare this to TMac/Yao?

    Bev will be missed immensey.

As long as Lin plays limited minutes and is just used to spare the true starts a few minutes here and there like he has done lately, we should be fine.

I cringe to think Lin playing heavy minutes come playoff time. He is just not made for it mentally.

He'll be fine I wouldn't be surprised at all if he puts up some nice numbers. If the Rockets face the Blazers he's guaranteed to. The Blazers are chumps come playoffs.
