As a Rockets supporter, I say Beverley do it .

As a Beverley supporter, I would be worried about your future sacrificing so much for so little in return.

This is why Rockets need the 4 seed. Losing tonight probably helps more.

Houston/Portland winner vs. San Antonio/Phx winner

    OKC/Memphis winner vs. LAC/GS winner

Rockets best odds of reaching the WCF and with some help from GS or Memphis reaching the finals.

We should call Daniel Gibson or Chris Duhon to try out

What exactly did happen? How did Bev injure? It just came out of nowhere. Was it a lingering issue that Rockets physicians once again overlooked, until it finally reached break point?

    This.

Weren't we 3-1 vs GSW last season? With JUST Harden and Lin? IE, No Howard? And Tony Douglas as the back up?

Seriously, folks are really blowing some of this out of proportion with selective memories. Lin's defensive drop off against the *specific* PG's (Parker, Curry, Lillard and Westbrook) that we're going to be facing is not THAT much.

The big drop off is losing the Bev/Lin line up, and going from Bev/Lin to Lin/Canaan.

It's looking very unlikely that Portland will be the 4th seed. Losing Beverley absolutely leaves us vulnerable to a first round loss. Conley on Lin - ouch. Lin on Curry? Ouch.

    God help us.

Missing AB now... hindsight is 20/20 I guess. Canaan is not ready to be a rotation player on a playoff team.

I hope Bev can somehow get back for the playoffs. He is a warrior, so you never know I guess.

Boykins, this guy stays in shape but don't know the extent to Beverley's injury could be quick turn around like JF tweeted.

The problem is the 2nd unit.
We don't have much time to try new lineups.

Hopefully the team can keep up the defensive intensity after this! We were soft as butter when Pat was out with the hand injury earlier in the season!

Hey guys, first post ever. I've been a long time lurker of ClutchFans and felt it was time to start contributing. Kind of a sad way to start though considering the circumstances. Hope Beverley doesn't rush it and hurt himself worse. Would love to have him back but only if he's not in danger.
