If I recall Tate, Porter, and Wood were the black holes at times on offense.

    Got rid of one.

    only two more to go.

People have absolutely **** on these teenagers too, it's honestly embarrassing. Jalen Green averaging 20+ points per game in his 2nd season, age 20 season and people cry if he has a turnover. Like, he's doing something only the greats do. Scoring like that before age 22-23 is almost impossible.

Sengun too. He's doing something 20 year olds don't do, not often anyway. But if he doesn't get 4 blocks in a game people b****.

Garuba took a redshirt season, people b****.

Josh Christopher? Noticeable lack of b****ing. Not encouraging it, just wondering what's different?

I guess lower expectations to begin with. Although we have a rabid JOF. @Williamson

Why though? His circumstances aren't different.

Plus he's giving up playing time to Nix and Mathews.

Yeah but the first half showed what a system looks like with KPJ, Green, Jabari and Sengun......it was a flow and low turnovers and high assists.....

Then we went all dumbass young and stupid in the 3rd quarter and the game got away.....but the first half is what we are striving for....gonna take time to get there consistently ....but you can see it.......

Just may need a palantiri stone.

Stone needs to force his hand, Garrison, Tate, EG all need to be moved ASAP, even if they get nothing in return. It is inevitable that we will lose a guy that ends up being a very good starter somewhere else, I am hoping it is more like a Covington type of player and not ending up on the other end of a Harden to Hou or Tmac to ORL type of deal. The TMAC story is constantly in the back of my mind with this roster.

Patience is another vague word for delaying the inevitable that is firing Silas or telling him to exit in one of the offseasons.

An "efficient" and reeled in Scooter last night vs Denver. Sengun was the only + on the team among starters minutes and Houston still loses by 16 mainly IMO because Jalen had an off night. I know I know "Silas Sucks", but laying the teams struggles at KPJs feet so far has been a crazy scapegoat situation. No matter what positions these youngsters played (and really its more about ROLE in the positionless era) they were going to need time to mesh.

This assortment of youngsters + top 5 pick this draft + a high level FA/Trade acquisition should be able to challenge the contenders within 1-2 seasons (might be blind homer superfan opinion again I dunno). If that requires KPJ to play "off ball" or as a reserve so be it, but these guys need to learn how to lose as a team before they can win as a team. There is no substitute for experience and chemistry. Pretty apparent though that its building little by little, game by game. Via the small sample I've seen with Jalen being the initiator it does look 'smoother'. Blind passing to spots is increasing as these guys get more comfortable with each other. Extra passing to open shooters after drawing the defender is AWESOME. Shows maturity as players and trust in each other.

From my perspective this team will go as Jalen Green goes. Not KPJ. Not Sengun. Not Jabari. Jalen will be the most impactful to the W/L record as he becomes more consistent.

You better get used to it, younger kids coming into the league surpassing the older generation, it's not really surprising.

The team has already had way too much patience with KPJ. He’s not a point guard. He is a tumor.

Lazy defense, minimal instincts and hero ball mentality. Don’t want to hear how he’s only in year ‘x’ of being a point guard. He ain’t it.
