Not a bad list. In terms of guys we could afford with the MLE, Antonio Daniels and Jeff McInnis stand out to me. Both have good size 6'4", 6'5" and play defense. Jason Richardson is a SG BTW.
I'd seriously think about Damon Stoudamire for a reasonable price. A bit undersized, but he's a good PG.
I'd really like to sign Damon Jones for a two or three year deal. He'd be very reasonable and he played well for Milwaukee. If he doesn't work out, Lue only has one more year on his contract. We can then sign another point guard to start and move Damon Jones to our back up spot. I whole heartedly agree that this years class of free agent point guards leave a lot to be desired. Damon Jones and Rafer Alston are honestly the most appealing to me.
Thanks BobF*. I knew someone would come through. Watson, Daniels, McInnis, and Tinsley would be worth a look, although none of them are particularly good shooters. Certainly enough meat on the bone that we don't need to be desparate this year. Capologists, what are the realistic possibilities of signing any of these guys?
